Crew Information
Captain: Davis Butler
Davis Butler - Captain
Captain Davis Butler grew up surrounded by the coastal waters of Savannah, Georgia and started driving boats at a very young age. His favorite activity as a young man was zipping through the marshes on a personal watercraft or entertaining friends on the family boat while exploring Georgia’s barrier islands. This lifestyle helped cultivate a passion for exploration and entertainment, expressed in how Captain Davis plans and executes his charters. The Bahamas has proven to be one of his favorite cruising grounds because of its 700+ small islands and endless beaches to explore. Although fun and entertainment are at the forefront of any yachting experience, guests’ safety and comfort are the main concern of the crew. Over his years of crossing oceans and inland navigation, Captain Davis has learned how to preemptively avoid dangerous situations and proactively react to incidents on board. He has selected professional and well-trained crew members to make CHILD’S PLAY one of the safest and most enjoyable charter yachts. Captain Davis and the crew of CHILD’S PLAY will leave guests with life-long memories and stories to cherish.
Patrick Nolan - Chief Engineer
Born and raised on Long Island, New York Patrick has always had a love for the ocean and a passion for fishing. He was introduced to the yachting industry nine years ago and went on to complete his 200-ton Captain’s License, AEC, and Dive Master certifications. Patrick is also a keen motorcyclist, crazy about fishing, and loves to watch movies in his spare time.
Kirsten Denyer - Chef
Kirsten is a 30-year-old South African who loves cooking delicious, healthy, and creative dishes for guests onboard Child’s Play. Chef Kirsten strives to give everyone an extraordinary experience through her love of varied cuisines and her attention to and knowledge of specific dietary requirements. She is an easy-going, enthusiastic, and well-rounded crew member who enjoys kitesurfing, horse-riding, and free diving in her free time. Her extensive yachting experience allows her to help with all aspects of the running of the vessel; deck duties, service skills, and tender driving just to name a few; she considers herself a team player and really enjoys getting involved outside the galley. She will strive to make your time onboard Child’s Play the best time you've ever had.
Katie Moore - Second Stewardess
Katie was born and raised in the panhandle of Florida known as “The Emerald Coast”. She has been a boater her entire life and has a deep love for the ocean and all things in it. She and her family enjoy taking yearly trips to the Florida Keys for snorkeling and lobstering. Katie is eager to experience the amazing opportunities that wait on the horizon.
