All prices are generated by a calculator and serve as a guide for new charterers. Any additional information of the Price Details section has priority over above. Availability is always subject to confirmation. Gratuity not included for it's discretionary character, usually 5%-25% of the Base Price.
Captain: Michael Tews
Captain Michael Tews - After completing time in the US Army as a Security Communications Specialist, Michael started out in yachting as an engineer and dive master on a sportfish boat and then transition over to motor yachts. He has spent many years on successful charter yachts such as, ALANDREA, SOVEREIGN, KALEEN and more. His experience the Bahamas, the US East Coast, spans the entire Caribbean with many years based in Saint Martin. Mike is well versed in fishing and loves all watersports.
First Mate Sven Hess – Sven is originally from South Africa and after completing his BA Degree had a quest for travel and adventure. He began working on board yachts and has not looked back. After time and experience he has obtained a 200- ton Captains license and enjoys operating the tenders, fishing, water sports and diving. Sven worked on board ALANDREA with Captain Mike and completed many successful charters. His knowledge and experience on deck as well as the engine room, make Sven a huge asset to the CRESCENDO IV crew. This added to his easygoing nature, never ending great attitude and smile, helps ensue guests have a great time while on charter.
Stewardess Laura Courcy – Laura joins CRESCENDO IV having also worked on board ALANDREA with Mike and Sven. This busy and successful yacht allowed Laura to assist with the interior as well as services and assisting the chef with guests catering requests and entertaining. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science from San Diego State University in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Laura has worked in hospitality in catering and service in the Omni Hotel & Resort as well as the Westin Grand Cayman Resort & Spa and bring her wide range of experience and attention to detail to Crescendo IV.
Deckhand Omar David Mejia Vanegas – Omar is originally from Columbia and attended the University of Cali in Columbia to study a profession in sports. Omar is fluent in Spanish and English and was introduced to yachting in Miami, FL. He worked on board UTOPIA IV and gained experience on deck, interacting with guests and maintain and manage all water sports activities. He continued onto UTOPIA III and joined CRESCENDOC IV when she was purchased in August of 2020. Omar was involved in assisting with the complete refit of Crescendo IV and outfitting her with a full assortment of charter toys. In addition to yachting Omar is also a personal fitness trainer and always happy to assist guests in keeping fit while on board CRESNDO IV.
Chef Linkie Marais - Linkie is an accomplished chef, lifestyle expert and TV personality who has a passion for living life to the fullest. After competing on the popular show “Food Network Star Season 8”, she started traveling the country doing demos, classes, and high-end events at Food and Wine Festivals, corporate events and private parties. Doing these high-end events, Linkie has developed an excellent eye for detail that has landed her some of the most elite events around the country. In Nov 2015 Linkie decided to try her hand at yachting and she fell in love with the high energy on the water and superior standards of the industry. Linkie always tries to push the envelope when it comes to cuisine. She will always find a way to incorporate a special touch to make your dining experience fantastic.
