Description: Captain Dan Corcoran began his yachting career young. At the age of 15, he started washing boats at a local marina in Spring Lake, Michigan, and at 18 years old became a licensed Captain. During breaks in college, he ran boats back and forth from Michigan to Florida. After graduating he moved to Florida to run boats full time. In 2001, after upgrading his license, he embarked on running larger yachts and in 2012, ran a 151’ Northern Marine, For 15 years, Captain Dan and his wife, Toni, ran yachts cruising the East Coast of the US, the Great Loop, the Tennessee/Tombigbee waterway, and the Bahamas. With 40 years of experience as a captain, he holds a Master 1600 GRT license and always puts the safety of his guests first. Out of all his years of experience, the Bahamas
holds a special spot in Captain Dan’s heart, and he loves giving the guest a truly unique experience and showing the Bahamas “through his eyes”. Captain Dan calls Tampa home, where he loves to spend time with his wife and dogs.
